After all, It's Time!!!!
We know from past experience that a lot of our Winter Renters would like to beat the rush and head on back home after their exams have finished. We also know that some exams are being held toward the very end of April or your commitments here in town make it necessary to stay to the last day of your tenancy.
Good News! We can accommodate you. After all we have helped you through the entire Winter and want to make sure you move on to your next residence or back home as safely and surely as possible with all your belongings.
We specialise in 8 month Rentals and so have a lot of movement over a few days each seasons end. So, we have to staff up to meet your moveout requirements and what we need from you is a DATE and TIME of your intended moveout . Given that we have so many across 5 or more apartment complexes, we sometimes need to schedule geographic common moveouts for a given date.
So, get in early and lets agree on a date and time to get you going.
Main Apartment Complexes and corresponding Suite Codes:
Sunset Waterfront - your suite code is Sxxxx
Discovery Bay - - your suite code is DBxxx
Waterscapes - your suite code may be Wxxxx, OSxxx, O2xxx, HExxx
Sole Apartments - your suite code is Sxxx, SDxxx
Pinnacle Pointe - your suite code is Pxxx
Playa Del Sol - your suite code is PDxxx
Casa Loma - your suite code is CLxxx ( as your rental is based on a hotelier nightly rate, we will check you out on your preferred date after a quick walk though)

Move Out Process:
It will take 1/2 to 3/4 hour to do the move out inspection - please factor this in if your are leaving by Air, Rail Trail or eBus.
Book your move out.
Take a Look at the online Sheet and select a move OUT time that is still available as option 1 and a second option just in case.
Email us with your selection: longterm@realty-one.ca
You should then get an acceptance of your time/date (which may not be your first choice, but we will try our hardest)
You can then arrange with your friends, family or movers to help you move out on the day.
Please have the suite cleared of all your belongings and those of your room mates so that we can do our move out inspection.
You should have everything out of the suite by the time of your move out appointment.
The suite should be pre-cleaned and all items put back in place, like it was when you moved in and took your incoming photos.
A trained member of DKRA/Realty-One will go though the suite with 1 or 2 of the people named on the lease and give you an estimate of damages/cleaning that may have to be performed (if anything is observed and noted)
You will need to sign off on the move out checklist - an agreement by both parties - on the exit condition of the suite at this time and
You will also have to provide a forwarding address per BC RTB regulations and have this noted on the exit condition report
With the next 2 weeks aftermove out, you will receive a Security Deposit Statement that you will need to sign off on to receive your Security Deposit back by INTERAC/etransfer.
The person who paid the Security Deposit will be the one whom we return it to and that person can they divide up the return.
We can NOT guarantee you will get your nominated slot, but we will try our best to accommodate your requirements.
